Of roads I prefer

But they are earth exposed

Where grass once stood

Earthen ribbons in parallel rhyme

Two tracks,

Of dirt and dusty grime.

But my favorite of all

is a foot path through woods and glen,

A place of solitude,

Of flickering light,

Amid dancing trees,

in chorus delight.
